PE Kit and Swimming

P.E. Kit

Children have P.E. twice a week.

P.E. kit should consist of:

• blue shorts
• yellow T-shirt
• socks
• trainers or pumps
• joggers / fleece top (optional for cold weather)

All items of clothing should carry your child’s name, and kits should be in closeable bags.

Swimming

Swimming is a requirement of the Key Stage 2 National curriculum for P.E.

Swimming takes place on Monday mornings at the Grand Central Pools in Stockport, and free transport from and to the school is provided.

Timetable

• Autumn Term – Class 4 swimming
• Spring Term – Class 5
• Summer Term – Class 3

Equipment.

Boys must wear trunks, not shorts.

Girls must wear a swimming costume (not a bikini) and a swimming cap.

Children are not allowed to wear earrings when swimming. Staff are not allowed to remove earrings.
